You ever get that feeling things aren't quite what they seem to be? That sensation when something looks, smells and sounds as you 'd expect, but there's something simply a little bit different, and you can't rather put your finger on why. Like baseball, however with an unusual accent. Or the Olympic champion that a kite, but out in the ocean!
We're on our bikes with the earliest woman to win an Olympic biking medal in the team pursuit discipline. Dotise Bauch was almost forty when she won silver as part of the US team at London 2012. An impressive accomplishment, made all the more exceptional by her late arrival into the sport, she was recommended by a therapist to use up cycling to enhance her mental health, but likewise because she positioned on the podium on a plant powered diet.
It looks easy enough, however there are fewer more technically requiring sports than Kitesurfing. You ride a board under you, with an enormous kite above you and your task is to navigate a course out on water much faster than anybody else, propelled by the wind and your capability to remain on the board! As Baseball's World Series Champions are crowned you might be forgiven for believing that your options for enjoying a video game is limited ... but what if i told you there remained in fact a small however growing enthusiasm for the game in a place you might not anticipate! And whilst we understand that baseball isn't just an American sport and it's extremely popular in East Asia, the Caribbean, and in South and Central America too. But Europe? Well possibly that's more of a surprise to fans whose dedication is to the Blue Jays, the Dodgers or the Yankee's. We remain in search of baseball enthusiasts on the other side of the Atlantic.
